A bit short, but for the price its worth it! Unique artstyle and gameplay!

Overall this is a decent game but to justify being a paid app it needs more in depth content. This game is essentially one of those click-to-ascend click-to-descend type games like Jetpack man or Helicopter rush. In Sir Benfro you float through the levels until the end by avoiding obstacles and not running out of fuel. It sounds simple enough but this game is frustratingly difficult. Fuel in the game comes in the form of fireflies that you capture with your balloon and they keep you afloat. As you progress, you shed flies and if you run out, its game over. Each level has barely enough fireflies to get you to the end, some of which are impossible to get to. On top of this, there there are many obstacles in the game which if you bump into, bring you to a screeching halt and you also lose a few precious fireflies in the process. This can make the the level impossibly difficult to finish because it takes your floating character forever to achieve any momentum or speed, thus costing more firefly fuel to get back up to speed. All this would be forgivable if the levels werent so ludicrously long. Theyre almost never ending, and with death almost a certainty at every corner you would think there would be a half way point or checkpoints to continue where you left off. But no, if you die, you start all over. Back. At. The. Beginning. This also wouldnt be so bad if there was more to do in the levels but there isnt. You just float through trying not to hit anything while looking at the odd but interesting visuals and music. With all that being said the games visuals and music are very unique and very good. However it takes more than that to earn a 5 star rating for a paid app and unfortunately there just enough content. Overall if you buy this app, youll be interested for the first level perhaps, but the rest will start to get dull and very repetitive. Youll wind up more frustrated than anything.

I didnt like the game and my grandchildren3.5 and 6 were not interested in playing it.Starts out too hard to be fun and constant tapping to move.It wasnt for us.

Great artwork, some of the best Ive seen in an iPhone game. 4 levels tho? And no checkpoints? This game would be stellar if they were 4 endless levels instead. Fix!

I read about the game on the Superpunch blog and I thought to myself this is the perfect game for me, so I got myself a copy. And it is the perfect game for me - fun and silly, its the perfect way to spend a little time in a different world. Heartily recommended!!

This style if play has been done a thousand times, but never quite so beautifully. Worth adding to your shelf if just for the art and production value alone. Its also challenging enough to entice extra play. Love it.

This is the most gorgeous game Ive ever played. Regardless of the fun game play, Id still open this app to experience the wonderful auditory and aesthetic loveliness that is Sir Benfro. This is the definition of graphic arts. Unparalleled in its beauty. Easily five stars, because six isnt an option.

Simple game play presented beautifully. Feels so creative and interesting, and the mechanics are simple enough that you can watch all the neat creatures in the game. Just an enjoyable experience!

This game is pure class. Dead simple gameplay, beautifully rendered superflat graphics, great sound effects and satisfying gameplay. Not the deepest or most complex app ever produced, but the imaginative presentation and overall panache make this well worth the asking price. Very, very slick. Keep an eye on this developer.

I live the art in the game and the back story for the character. Its a cool, beautiful, light hearted game. Definitely worth it. :)

This is the cutest, most beautifully designed, and most relaxing game Ive ever played on my iPad (mini). Even after just one try at it, I am smiling to myself and wanting more, The backgrounds and graphics are so wonderfully done, and the music is equally charming. Im excited to see the other levels. I hope it goes on forever. Sure I love my more fast-paced or tense or challenging games... but sometimes its nice to just play something calm, e.g. before bed. I highly recommend this game, if you enjoy artistic, smile-inducing games. :-)
